Frameless Shower Screen Installed in Armadale
This Armadale bathroom required a custom frameless shower screen designed to work around the adjoining bath. A precision dog-leg cut-out allowed the fixed glass panel to follow the shape of the bath while maintaining a clean and open enclosure.
Precision Glass Around the Bath
A standard rectangular shower screen would not have worked with this bathroom’s layout because the bath extends into the shower-screen opening. The solution was a custom dog-leg fixed panel manufactured to follow the bath’s shape precisely. The frameless enclosure uses clear 10mm toughened safety glass with minimal chrome hardware, allowing light to move through the bathroom and keeping the overall appearance clean and uncluttered. A hinged frameless door provides comfortable access to the shower, while the shaped fixed panel creates the required separation beside the bath. Accurate measuring is particularly important for dog-leg glass because every angle, height and cut-out must match the surrounding surfaces. The glass was custom-made specifically for this bathroom rather than adapted from an off-the-shelf screen. The completed installation demonstrates how custom glass can solve an unusual bathroom layout without compromising appearance or everyday function.
